Ode on a Grecian Urn
1. In this poem Keats is looking at a beautifully decorated urn. The urn is Greek and ancient, so you expect the scenes of the decoration to be set in ancient Greece. Read the poem and underline the expressions supporting this.
2. The poet decsribes two scenes decorating the urn. Read carefully the 2nd and 4th stanzas to find which people are described, what they are doing and where the action takes place. Then fill in the table below.
